Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Student ages 14-18 Years Old.
- Resides within North Texas.
- Able To Work 20 hours Per Week.
- Able to Work For 5 Weeks.
- Work at Local Employer.
- Obtain a Certificate of Age Form.
Career Workshop
- 10 Weeks, 1 Hour/Week, Online
- Youth receive career counseling and coaching to ensure successful summer job placement.
- Interactive online workshops exploring youths’ identity in Christ, interests, gifts, passions, and aligning career goals with God’s purpose and biblical principles.
- Addressing and resolving barriers to employment.
Job Placement Services
- 10 Weeks, 1 Hour/Week, Online
- Dedicated job placement specialists connect youth with paid summer employment opportunities at local businesses.
- We provide personalized matching, considering each youth’s skills and interests to meet employer needs.
- Youth receive extensive support during the entire placement process, including regular phone, text, and email communication, along with a detailed in-person orientation.
Work Readiness Training
- 10 Weeks, 1 Hour/Week, On Work Site
- Youth receive on-site job training and coaching from experienced professional job trainers.
- Youth develop essential workplace skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and technical abilities.
- Youth learn strong work ethics and positive attitudes for career success.
